Mavera Episode 19 Review
In Mavera Episode 20, Saltukh returns to Baghdad after failing to find anyone in Dai’s secret place. Mahmud tells Saltukh that they have to eat and tries to take him to the spoon shop. Efkan sees them in the market and tells that Haje came to the city with Hemedani. While Hemedani is reading the book, Ahmed arrives and tells him that the meal is ready. Hemedani tells him that he will not eat because he is fasting. Shahsuvar comes to the Sazlik neighborhood and sees sacks of flour there. Necip tells that someone secretly left these flour sacks last night. Dai learns that Hemedani has arrived in Baghdad and says the war is getting harder. Mahmud and Saltukh arrive while Hemedani is telling a story to his students in the dervish lodge. Mervan tells Atif that Hemedani came to the city and expelled him from the dervish lodge. Atif says it is time for Mervan to open his own dervish lodge. Mahmud starts talking to Hemedani after the conversation is over.
Hemedani knows Saltukh’s name and tells him that the wound in his heart will be healed. Leyla asks Adnan to find Nejat and say that she will apologize to him. Leyla says she will poison Nejat. Hemedani leaves his dervish lodge to Ahmed and sets out. Adnan leaves a message in a book and then goes to see Dai. Asife’s nanny talks to the palace doctor and gets a bottle of ointment from him. Asife takes out the message from the bottle and learns that the doctor was taking medicine from the nomads. Dai’s soldiers take Adnan to the new secret base. Adnan says that Leyla will apologize to Nejat and invite him to her house. Adnan says Leyla will poison Dai, but Haje is responsible for it. Haje and his friends go to the Sazlik neighborhood. Asife goes to Atif’s room and says she doesn’t want to argue with him from now on.
Atif listens to what she says and says that the palace doctor was caught giving the caliph an unknown drug. Atif says that from now on Asife will not leave the palace. After Haje eats at the Sazlik district, he goes to the nomadic plain. One of Saltukh’s spy friends asks about the sacks going to Baghdad, but Sedat kills him. Ahmed tells his friends about Akboru’s innocence and the facts about him. Ahmed then summons Yalgiz and Akboru to his tent. Haje asks Pehlivan to train Yalgiz and Akboru. Adnan says he spoke to Nejat but was worried about Leyla’s life. Haje goes to the dervish lodge that night and begins to tell a story that he learned from his first teacher, Arslan Bab. As Asife gets ready to sleep, the soldier sent by the palace doctor arrives. The soldier asks Asife to stay calm and says that he will protect Asife on the doctor’s order.
Asife learns that Haje is back in Baghdad and gives the soldier a mission. Dubeys kills the soldiers he received from the Bedouin and talks to the leader of the tribe. The baker in the Sazlik neighborhood starts to make bread from poisonous flour. That night, Dai goes to Leyla’s house and starts talking to her. Leyle says she did everything for Meryem and apologizes to Nejat. Meanwhile, Adnan comes and brings drinks. Haje gives the keys of the dervish lodge to Mahmud and tells him that from now on he will carry out all the administrative work. Mahmud is very happy about his new assignment. Leyla gives Nejat a glass of drink, but Dai gives her his own glass. Nejat forces Leyla to drink the drink in the glass. While Mahmud locks the door of the dervish lodge, Asife brings her father.
