Mavera Episode 20 Review
In Mavera Episode 21, Ahmed had a room prepared in the dervish lodge for the caliph to stay. Asife tells that her father is unlikely in the palace and that she has to protect him from Atif. Leyla does not drink the drink in Nejat’s glass. Dai says he doesn’t know who to trust anymore and drinks his drink. Atif learns that Asife had transferred the caliph from the palace and becomes very angry. The soldiers say that Asife is going to Basra. Khutluk awakens Aytolu and says that Haje summoned them to the dervish lodge. Pehlivan begins to suspect the soldiers who came with Asife. The next day, Aytolu and Khutlul bring medicine for the caliph. Haje thanks Khutluk and asks him to take Asife to the plain. Atif tortures the palace doctor and tries to learn something from him. Pehlivan takes his students and says he will train them. The Pehlivan then asks his students to run around the nomad camp. The soldiers say they stopped the cars going to Basra but could not find anyone.
Atif begins to think about where the caliph is. Asife’s soldiers start to dress like dervishes and Mahmud helps them. Dai says that Leyla tested Adnan’s credibility. Dai says that Leyla can now plot an assassination and asks Adnan to learn more. Atif says he knows that Asife is in Baghdad and asks the doctor to tell him where they are. The palace doctor does not accept this offer. Thereupon, Atif kills the doctor. Mansur brings the medicine prepared by Khutluk to the dervish lodge. Haje then asks Mansur to go to the market and tell people that they will have a chat that night. After a short while, Saltukh arrives and says that the men in the dervish lodge may be soldiers. Ahmed tells him all the facts. Atif calls Dai to the palace and tells him that Asife has kidnapped the caliph. Pehlivan takes Meryem to Leyla’s house. Leyla tells Adnan that she played a game to check his loyalty and that he is a loyal person. Leyla tells her that she will really kill Nejat next time.
Pehlivan tells Leyla to be calm, but she says she will avenge Mahbube. Pehlivan tells her that he does not want Leyla to die and that Asife is trying to save the caliph. Leyla tells him that she will not do anything bad and will be patient. The spies that Atif sent to the nomadic plain come back to the palace and say that the nomads did not let them in. Atif thinks nomads are doing something. Haje first prays to Allah and then gives medicine to the caliph. Leyla says she trusts Adnan now and tells him what Asife has done. Pehlivan goes to the spoon shop and asks Mansur to write his poems. Necip unwittingly distributes all the poisonous bread to poor people. That night, Mansur takes Pehlivan’s poems to Leyla. At that time, Haje begins to tell a story to those who come to the dervish lodge.
Leyla opens the handkerchief brought by Mansur and begins to read what is written on the paper inside. Leyla begins to cry with happiness. While Atif plans to send his soldiers to the nomadic plain, Adnan comes to the palace. Adnan tells Atif that Asife was taking the caliph to the dervish lodge. Atif gives Adnan a bag of gold and sends him. After the conversation is over, the leader of the Bedouin tribe goes to the dervish lodge and tells Saltukh what Dubeys did. Saltukh says he will kill Dubeys, but the leader of the tribe shows him the flour he has found. People in the Sazlik neighborhood start getting sick one by one. While trying to understand what happened, Shahsuvar sees Necip getting sick. Atif and his soldiers attack the dervish lodge and say they came to take the caliph. Meanwhile, the Caliph stands up and says that Atif will pay for everything he has done.
