Mavera Episode 18 Review
In Mavera Episode 19, Hemedani begins to march with Ahmed and Mansur towards Baghdad. Hemedani asks Mansur if he still has written stories and events. Saltukh goes to the city and goes to Ahmed’s shop, but he cannot see anyone there. Tarik says that Haje left Baghdad and what happened in the Sazlik district. Hemedani talks about why he set out to come to Baghdad and tells Ahmed what he has to do. Once again, Almas sees Aytolu crying and comforts her. Pehlivan opens the spoon shop and talks with the tradesmen. Pehlivan learns that no one helped Mahbube’s funeral because of what Mervan said. Shahsuvar and Mahmud talk about what happened in the Sazlik neighborhood. Atif learns that Asife secretly gave the caliph a different medicine. Saltukh goes to the Sazlik neighborhood and tells that he has found Dai’s secret place.
Mahmud immediately wants to attack this man, but Shahsuvar says his enemy is only Mervan. Atif goes to Asife’s room and accuses her of poisoning the caliph. Asife says that the medicine she gave healed her father. Saltukh says Dai is a very dangerous person and that he can cause problems in the Sazlik neighborhood, but Shahsuvar does nothing. Pehlivan talks to the imam of the mosque and asks him for help with the funeral. Hemedani prayed with Ahmed and Mansur. Mervan asks the men in the dervish lodge to call him Sheikh and learns that Pehlivan is speaking to an imam. Pehlivan tells Leyla that one of the imams in the city will help Mahbube’s funeral. Asife’s nanny deliberately cuts off her hand and goes to talk to the palace doctor. Dai checks the final preparations and announces that important guests are coming. Saltukh takes Shahsuvar and Mahmud with him and sets off. Dai’s soldiers send signals to each other to take action. Hemedani goes to a grave outside the city and begins to tell the story of that man.
Ahmed listens to the story told by his teacher and prepares to go to Baghdad again. Spies among Dubeys’ soldiers want to go to Baghdad with Uzeyir, but they cannot take this task because they are newbies. Dai’s soldiers attack the men on the road, but this is Saltukh’s trap. Saltukh kills Dai’s soldiers with his friends. Leyla thanks Pehlivan for his actions. The doctor of the palace goes to the nomad plain to get the plant that he learned from Asife’s nanny. Aytolu begins to prepare the medicine. The funeral of Mahbube begins and some merchants join the ceremony. Mervan stops the group carrying the lifeless body of Mahbube and says he will not allow this operation. Pehlivan hears what people are calling Sheikh to Mervan and warns him harshly once again. Saltukh enters Dai’s secret base but cannot find anyone there. Leyla tries to calm Pehlivan, but Mervan provokes him even more.
Pehlivan pushes Mervan and the fight begins. Meanwhile, Hemedani comes to Baghdad and stops the fight. Hemedani congratulates Pehlivan for his actions and says that what Mervan did was wrong. Mervan says he will not remain silent anymore, but Hemedani tells him that he must leave the dervish lodge. Dai says he does not feel sorry for his dead soldiers because now he knows more about the attackers on his secret base. Uzeyir and Sedat take the poisonous flour to Baghdad that night. After a long break, Hemedani goes to the dervish lodge in Baghdad and tells a story to his students there. Later, Ahmed prays with his friends and other dervisher. Ahmed thanks his teacher that night for everything and says he’ll do his best.
