Mavera Episode 5 Review
In Mavera Episode 6, Pehlivan sees Dubeys leaving Leyla’s house and begins to follow him secretly. Dubeys speaks to one of Atif’s soldiers and then leaves the city. Pehlivan then rushes back to the carpentry workshop and says he saw Dubeys. Ahmad is shocked and learns that Dubeys is talking to one of Atif’s soldiers. Ahmad asks his friends to be careful. The next day, Ahmad goes back to the nomadic plain and speaks with a child.
The nomadic man wants to treat Ahmad’s shoulder wound and learns that Khwaja is carrying stones. The nomadic man asks Aytolu for some medicinal plants to make an ointment. Leyla learns that Ahmad is carrying stones to establish a soup kitchen in the Sazlik neighborhood. Pehlivan goes to Leyla’s house and pays her the rent of the shop. Leyla is very uncomfortable with what Pehlivan says. Asife tells her father that the soldiers forced Ahmad out of the lodge.
Atif says that Mervan is a very good person and he works hard for the lodge. Atif tells the caliph that Khwaja and his friends started to influence Asife. Caliph begins to suspect Ahmad and orders his daughter not to leave the palace. While Ahmad is carrying stones, Aytolu comes and gives him food. Ahmad thanks her very much. Asife gets very angry about what Atif did and tries to get out of her room. Saltuk goes to Ahmad’s shop. Ahmad tells him that he has important things to say, but Saltuk says he does not work for the Seljuk state. Ahmad says that he knows that Saltuk is working for the Seljuk state and that he will keep this secret. Ahmad tells Saltuk that Dubeys came to the city. One of Atif’s soldiers takes the guards waiting in front of Asife’s room to another location and helps Asife escape. Atif says that Asife will escape that night and asks the soldiers to follow her secretly.
While Ahmad is carrying manure on his back, some merchants see him but do not help him. Meanwhile, Leyla comes to the market and gets angry at the traders who didn’t help Ahmad. Leyla tells everyone what happened to her and says that nobody helped her. Leyla takes off the necklace from her neck and gives it to Ahmad. Saltuk tells the Seljuk commander what he learned from Ahmad and thinks that Suleiman was a martyr. Ahmad goes to Tarik’s shop to find out the value of the necklace in his hand, and the merchants there all say they will help Khwaja. That night, Khwaja goes to the Sazlik neighborhood with all the food he has gathered and distributes food to the poor. Atif tells the caliph that Asife escaped from the palace secretly and that she went to the Sazlik district. Ahmad tells everyone how important it is for people to help each other after everyone has eaten. Khwaja then tells a story about how the Prophet helped the oppressed.
Ahmad then thanks everyone who helped the poor. After a short while, Asife comes to the Sazlik neighborhood and finds Khwaja. After what happened to Suleiman, Saltuk secretly attacks one of the Dubeys’ soldiers and puts on his clothes. Saltuk sneaks around Dubeys’ headquarters and finds barrels full of gunpowder. Dubeys’ soldiers catch Saltuk and say they will kill him. Saltuk says he will avenge Suleiman and kills Dubeys’ soldiers. Pehlivan tells how good a woman Leyla is and what a good thing she did. Aytolu is very disturbed by Asife’s conversation with Ahmad and says that she just came here to relieve her conscience. Asife tells Ahmad about Atif’s decisions and her father that he knows nothing. Ahmad tells Asife not to annoy her father and asks to send a message to the palace about this. Meanwhile, the Caliph comes with the soldiers and says that he has come to take Asife.
