Mavera Episode 12 Review
In Mavera Episode 13, Atif congratulates Ahmed for his attribution and says that he is now responsible for Baghdad’s security. Everyone is surprised by this news. Ahmed thinks for a moment and takes off the jacket given by Atif. The people in the palace’s garden are even more surprised. Ahmed leaves the palace garden without saying a word. Efkan says that Haje does not want any position and that he is someone who just wants to do good deeds. Mervan gets very angry with what Atif did and thinks he is a hypocrite. Pehlivan sees Mansur and Yalgiz in the garden of the palace and gets angry with them. Pehlivan later sees Shahsuvar and gets angry with him for coming to the palace. Atif gets angry with Ahmed for not accepting the title he has been given. Atif decides to do something to get revenge on Haje.
Ahmed sees a beggar in the street and takes him somewhere. Asife learns that Atif did not do anything bad to Ahmed and she is very happy. Atif tells Dai what happened in the palace. Ahmed goes to his shop with the beggar. Ahmed asks the beggar for his name and asks Mahmud to give him food. Saltukh tells his commander what happened at the palace and what he learned about the priest. Mansur returns to the plain and tells what happened in the palace to everyone there. After the beggar has dinner, he goes from the shop and Pehlivan asks about who that man is. Pehlivan tells Haje that that man was a famous bandit a long time ago. Ahmed says he should help everyone in need no matter what. Shahsuvar buys two goats to do the next job on his list and sets out with Necip. Mansur starts teaching Urungu to read and write.
Some merchants come in while Ahmed and his friends are making spoons in the shop. Some of these merchants apologize to Ahmed for believing Mervan’s bad words. Efkan says they should not let Mervan do bad things, but Haje stops him and asks him not to do anything. Ahmed then tells a story. Ahmed then closes his shop and goes to the plain with his friends to eat. Meanwhile, the soldiers sent by Atif come to the plain and say that the nomads now have to pay taxes. Khutluk says nomads cannot pay such high taxes, but the soldier tells them that they have to pay taxes to the state. The soldier then gives Khutluk a paper and tells him that he has to pay the amount written on the paper to the state or that the entire tribe must leave these lands.
When Ahmed goes to the plain, he learns what the soldiers said and tries to improve Khutluk’s morale. Khutluk says that the people on the plain are already poor and cannot pay these taxes, but Almas says they will go elsewhere if necessary. Ahmed asks everyone to be patient and says they will find a solution soon. That night Shahsuvar comes to the plain with two goats. Shahsuvar tells that a while ago he stole two of the nomads’ goats and now brings them back. The palace doctor says that the Caliph is slowly getting better and asks who entered his room. Ahmed says he has found a solution for the nomads, and the next day he sets up a stand in the market to sell what they have made. Ahmed sees Akboru while selling what the nomads have made in the market and wants to give him something to eat. As Yalgiz is about to attack Akboyu, Haje stops him. Atif’s soldiers destroy the nomads’ bench. To protect Akboru, Ahmed made himself a shield and was stabbed.
