In Payitaht Abdulhamid Episode 143, Tahsin tells that Selim is not a mason and that he has sent a letter to the palace to explain this issue before. When Abdulhamid asked why Selim did not come to the palace and explained this issue, Tahsin said that Selim was worried about his brother Necip’s life. Selim tells Tahsin that he will wait somewhere to meet Hunkar, but he does not tell Abdulhamid this. Esref says he will use explosives in his hands to kill Nerva and his men. Nerva puts down his gun so that Esref doesn’t blow up the bag but then attacks him. Hunkar asks Ahmed Nuri to send a spy to Sofia and learn about Necip’s situation. Pashas talk about Martin’s death. Abdulhamid tells that he will give the letter that Martin sent before his death to the journalists as evidence. Tahsin shows the letter to journalists and asks them to report on this. Meanwhile, Tahsin thinks that he made a mistake because he did not tell Selim’s meeting proposal to Abdulhamid.
Saliha tells Hunkar that she spoke to Fatma and what she said. While Aliye is looking for her brooch, Fatma comes and says that she put her mansion up for sale. While listening to music, Cassel learns about the new news the newspapers have made about Martin. Cassel then invites everyone to dinner. Ahmed Nuri tells Hunkar that no one has seen Necip for a long time. Thereupon, Tahsin says that Selim wants to meet with Hunkar. Abdulhamid orders that all telegram wires in Payitaht be cut and calls Mahmud. Emsal finds Aliye’s brooch in the corridors under the palace and gives it to Saliha. Hunkar tells Mahmud that he will give whatever he wants and goes out of the room with Tahsin for a short time. Saliha tells Fatma that she found Aliye’s brooch in the cellar. Hunkar then comes to the room and shows Mahmud a photo, but Mahmud does not recognize the person in the photo. Abdulhamid then recalls the Pashas and says that he will call Selim’s brother, Necip, to work on the constitution.
The guests come once more at Cassel’s invitation. Cassel orders Sabahaddin to be found and one of the men working for the constitution is killed. Manyas says they should scare the man. Hunkar goes to the address Selim said and enters the house alone. Selim apologizes to Hunkar many times and regrets it. Abdulhamid gets angry with Selim and asks him to work for the state again. Selim says he will do anything to save his brother. Esat comes to dinner and tells that Hunkar has invited a Pasha. Abdulhamid asks questions to Selim and listens to him. While Fatma is reading the note sent by Tevik, Saliha comes and says she knows that Aliye was a traitor. Hunkar continues to ask questions and learns the truth from Selim. Selim says that after his brother is rescued, he will announce the names of the masons. Hunkar says Selim will do what he wants.
Fatma says that the mansion will be sold soon and she will go to Bursa with Aliye. Aliye opposes this and says that everything is because of Saliha. The man Abdulhamid summoned to the palace changes Selim’s hair and beard. Hunkar says that Selim will act like Necip and that they will find the mason Pasha. The next day, Abdulhamid calls Naime, Aliye, and Fatma and tells them that he knows all the facts. Esref learns that someone has been killed and begins to investigate this incident. Pashas talk about Necip, but nobody knows who he is. Meanwhile, Tevfik comes and says that telegraph lines cannot be used for a while. Nadir Aga, whom Abdulhamid loved as his son, returns to the palace after completing his visit to Africa and tells Hunkar what he saw there. Nadir then gifts Hunkar a walking stick.
Esref learns that the man he’s looking for is working with Nerva. Tevfik meets Fatma at a seaside location and tries to persuade her to stay in Payitaht, but Fatma says she has to go. One of the men working for the new constitution learns from the newspaper that someone who had worked for the previous constitution was killed by Ottoman spies and decides to flee to England. Esref enters a house and accidentally shoots Shehzade. Ahmed Nuri tells him the facts and wants to catch the man working for the constitution before he flies abroad. Ismail Kemal, the man working for the constitution, goes to the British embassy and asks the envoy for help. Saliha tells Fatma that Aliye will escape from the palace secretly. Hunkar orders Ismail Kemal to be brought to the palace. Nadir breaks the wheel of the embassy car, and so Ismail Kemal is stuck on the road.
Manyas and Talat begin to investigate what happened to Sabahaddin. Talat asks Frida to sneak into Mahmud’s mansion. Mahmud sends a message to Kani and Naime separately and brings them together in one place. Later, Mahmud and Sabuha watch them from afar. Frida sneaks into Mahmud’s house and starts looking for Sabahaddin. Esref captures Ismail Kemal and sends him to the palace. Hunkar dismisses Ismail Kemal for believing the lies in the newspaper and not working well for the state. While Frida is hiding from the servants in the house, she goes to the cellar and finds Sabahaddin. Ahmed Nuri tells Hunkar his plan to catch the mason and what Selim will do. Cassel tries to understand why Necip came to work on the new constitution.
Dressed as Necip, Selim goes one by one to the places where other Pashas often go. Selim first tells Shehzade that Tevfik and then Riza are innocent. Hunkar waits for the mason Pasha to appear. Esat hurries to Cassel’s office. Cassel asks Esat to follow Necip secretly. Fatma arrives while Stefano is waiting to meet Aliye. Fatma asks Stedano to stay away from Aliye. Tevfik wants to stop Stefano, but he takes Fatma hostage. Selim leaves the hotel that night and Esat follows him secretly. Mahmud sees Sabahaddin unconscious and gets up to check his health.
