Mendirman Jaloliddin Episode 8 Review

In Mendirman Jaloliddin Episode 9, Alauddin asks where Jalaluddin is. Akshah says that Jalaluddin left the palace to complete some works, but the Sultan is very angry. Alauddin accuses Jalaluddin of making decisions on behalf of the state without consulting him and asks Shamsiddinbek to control the Mongol soldiers approaching the country’s borders. After Shamsiddinbek leaves the room, Sultan says that what Jalaluddin did could have dangerous consequences. Shamsiddinbek goes to Turkan’s room and tells that the Sultan is looking for Jalaluddin. Turkan asks Shamsiddinbek to learn about the Mongols and sends a soldier to find Jalaluddin. Turkan asks Uzlagshah where he went last night, but Uzlag lies to her. Turkan realizes that Uzlagshah is hiding something and tries to choose a day for his wedding. Subutai devises a plan to attack Jalaluddin and begins to wait. Jalaluddin finds the soldiers he is looking for.

Jalaluddin says he just wants to talk to the soldiers and persuades them. Akshah goes undercover and secretly goes to the market. Akshah sees Kutlu in the market while searching for Hashish people and begins to follow her. An old woman goes to Behram’s shop and tells him that she will go to the palace. Behram gives the woman money and learns that Mihri Cihan has summoned her to the palace. The old woman says that a woman who came to the palace from afar caused a lot of trouble. Jalaluddin tells the soldiers about their crime and tells them that he will take them to a safe place. Turkan calls Shirin’s father to the palace and tells him that his daughter will marry Uzlagshah instead of Jalaluddin. Shirin’s father, Mahmud, says the Mongols attacked China. Turkan plans to use Mahmud to communicate with Genghis. Genghis speaks to his commanders and plans to use resources in China to give his army more supplies. Genghis then says that he is expecting news from Subutai and will plan his next attack according to this message.

Subutai sees them as Jalaluddin advances with the soldiers he captured. Alauddin says that Uzlagshah is working with Turkan and that Akshah may start working with her soon. The old woman shows Behram the poisonous snake in her bag and shortly thereafter, Kutlu comes to the shop. Akshah sees the old woman leaving the shop. Subutai attacks while Jalaluddin tries to bring the captured soldiers to a nearby village. Behram asks Kutlu what Jalaluddin has done, but he cannot get an answer from her. One of Behram’s men sees Akshah secretly watching the shop and takes action to attack him. Subutai’s soldiers injure one of Jalaluddin’s bodyguards. Subutai directly attacks Jalaluddin and tries to kill him. Akshah gets rid of the man who coincidentally attacked him. Mihri Cihan says that they will get rid of Kutlu soon. Although Turkan does not like this plan, she approves the plan to get rid of Kutlu. Turkan asks Mihri Cihan to apologize to the Sultan. Behram tells Kutlu to bring more information or Genghis will kill Jihangir.

Behram learns that Akshah is following Kutlu and gets very angry with her. Subutai realizes he will lose the war and retreats with his surviving soldiers. Akshah enters the shop Kutlu entered, but cannot see anyone there. Behram says he will not do anything about Akshah for now. Jalaluddin tries to help his injured bodyguards. The commander captured by Jalaluddin also starts to help the wounded soldiers. Aycicek tries to find out where Kutlu went. Mihri goes to Alauddin’s room and tells him that she actually went to Turkan’s tent to change her decision. Mihri later said that Turkan did not let her go and apologized to Alauddin many times. Aycicek sees Mihri hugging the Sultan and immediately leaves the room. Jalaluddin speaks to the commander who helped his bodyguards and realizes that he is actually loyal to the state. Jalaluddin frees the commander. Shamsiddinbek tells Uzlag that he was investigating the mistakes Nizam made before.

Uzlagshah still thinks about what Behram told him. Shirin sees Kutlu in the garden of the palace and asks her what kind of relationship she has with Jalaluddin. Kutlu warns Shirin sternly for what she said. Aycicek slaps Shirin for the rude things she said. Turkan sees all that happens and sends everyone to their rooms. Jalaluddin says that he will go to the palace and send a doctor to heal the wounded. The old woman sneaks into the palace and gives the bag in her hand to a soldier. Uzlagshah goes to talk to Behram again that night. Genghis goes to his tent and feeds a woman there. Genghis starts talking to this woman about the past. Mihri starts talking to Akshah and warns him about his brothers. Mihri says that on the battlefield that day, Jalaluddin tried to kill Uzlagshah. Akshah tries to defend Jalaluddin, but Mihri asks him to defend his own brother. Akshah says he will only defend what is right.

Akshah thinks about what Kutlu has done for a while and then says that Jalaluddin could also make mistakes. Jalaluddin eventually arrives at the palace and immediately orders the doctors to prepare for the journey. Kutlu goes to bed to sleep. Genghis continues to talk to his wife and tells her that he will take revenge on the whole world for what happened to her. Jalaluddin then goes to talk to the Sultan. Alauddin asks Jalaluddin where he went and what he did. Jalaluddin begins to tell his father what he did after the soldiers in the room went out. Sultan asks Jalaluddin why he hasn’t said these before. Jalaluddin says that he did this in order not to attract Turkan’s attention and that a commander loyal to Turkan would now be loyal to the Sultan. Jalaluddin says that someone attacked him on the way and maybe Turkan was responsible for this. Alauddin says that perhaps Mongol soldiers near the border might have attacked Jalaluddin. Taking the bag from the old woman, the soldier sneaks closer to the door of the room where Kutlu is staying and sends the snake in the bag to the room. The snake slowly climbs into Kutlu’s bed and bites her.
