Mavera Episode 2 Review

In Mavera Episode 3, While Ahmad is praying, a bandit attacks him. While Ahmad is fighting with the man, Saltun arrives and saves him. Saltuk says that Baghdad is very dangerous for everyone and goes. Atif learns about this incident the next day and says that only he will question the criminal. Soon Dai arrives and says that the man they sent could not kill Khwaja. Dai is angry with Atif for failing to do this and tells him that they will attack the thieves’ neighborhood and conquer Baghdad. Dai blames the leader of that neighborhood, Sahsuvar, and wants to eliminate him.

The dervishes in the lodge are very disturbed by the recent events. Dai then goes to the dungeon with Atif and asks the man there to kill himself. Dai’s disciple kills himself. Dai says that the guilty man confessed everything before he died and that he was actually a member of Sahsuvar’s gang. Saltuk disguises and goes to the Sazlik district. Khwaja tries to find out who the attacker is and talks to his friend Mahmud about it. Ahmad comforts his friend Mahmud.

Pehlivan and Mansur go to the shops in the market and ask who made the necklace on the attacker. One of the merchants says what Mansur is looking for is a lockpick, not a necklace. Ahmad then goes to the caliph to talk about it. Khwaja says the attacker only received a minor injury to his leg but died from blood loss from the dungeon. Caliph begins to suspect Atif’s actions. Caliph’s daughter Asife learns about Khwaja and asks about the attack. Atif says that Ahmad is an insignificant person.

Atif says that talking about this attack is unimportant and begins to explain that Ahmad rented Leyla’s shop to change the subject. Atif says that the man’s wound was a heavy one, but Khwaja objects to him. Atif later mentions that Ahmad was defending a thief. Saltuk goes to the lead man’s house and asks why the thieves sent a man to attack Ahmad. The man denies this accusation and begins to fight with Saltuk. Meanwhile, the soldiers sent by Atif come to the thieves’ neighborhood.

Pehlivan says the man who attacked Ahmad was a thief, but Khwaja doesn’t believe it. Leyla learns that someone attacked Ahmad, but she doesn’t believe that Sahsuvar did such a thing. Nomads learn about what happened to Ahmad and go to visit him. Ahmad says he is in good condition and wants to eat with the nomads. Nomads give Ahmad a few goats as a gift and return to where they came from. Some dervishes are uncomfortable with gifts brought by nomads.

Mervan says that everything changed after Ahmad came to the lodge, but Khwaja says that anyone can come to this lodge. Ahmad then invites everyone to chat. Khwaja tells a story about the Prophet and Abu Bakr running away from the attackers and hiding in a cave that night. Ahmad then starts talking about the brotherhood and explains how important it is. Mervan begins to be disturbed by what Ahmad is telling. Sahsuvar talks to everyone in the neighborhood that night and says that they will take revenge for what the soldiers have done.

Sahsuvar sends all the thieves to the shops in the market and the homes of the rich to get revenge. Ahmad had a dream that night. In Ahmad’s dream, Hamadani starts talking to him and says that the mission in Baghdad is very difficult. Hamadani asks Ahmad to never give up. The more Ahmad tried to clean Baghdad, the more he was getting dirty. Hamadani says the same thing and asks Ahmad not to give up. Hamadani then gives Ahmad a wooden sword and tells him that once he finds out the secret of this sword, everything will come through. Ahmad takes the wooden sword in his hand and the sword cuts off his hand. Hamadani asks Ahmad to believe. Ahmad then wakes up and goes out. Ahmad finds a tree and cuts it down. Ahmad works all night and makes a sword from that tree. Sahsuvar catches Ahmad.
